Annie Bostock

Name: Annie Bostock
Gallery: Windsor
Position: Art Consultant

About me: My passion for the fine arts stemmed from my artistic upbringing from my Father, who was a painter. I was heavily involved in the creation of our family owned antique and vintage clothing business from its inception, which is now run by my Mother in Harrogate. I was always destined to go down this route. I attended Leeds College of Art and Design and progressed onto the University for the Creative Arts. It is an inspiration to work amongst some beautiful artwork whilst being part of such a friendly and supportive team.

Favourite artists: I find the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood fascinating, especially the work of John William Waterhouse and Sir John Everett Millais. Modern day artists, Tom Butler, Chris and Steve Rocks and Barry Hilton.

Favourite Movie: The Scent of a Woman, When Harry met Sally, Beauty and the Beast, Anchorman, The Godfather II. The list goes on.

Interests: I love music, there is nothing that I will turn my nose up at. I also have a love of fashion, both menswear and womenswear. I wear both!

Most inspirational person: Without hesitation, my late Father. He was a painter and a teacher who taught in a childrens secure unit. He had an amazing outlook on life and the people within it, with a proud and fierce love of myself, older sister and Mother.
